We follow a 9 Step process to ensure we achieve the best cleaning solution for each and every type of rug.  We have on-staff certified rug cleaners,  to achieve this goal.

Step 1 – Pre-Inspection and Pick up

We will pick up your rug from your home or business. Upon pickup, your rug will be thoroughly inspected.  You can also bring it to our location and the inspection will take place at the office.

Step 2 – Dry Soil Removal

We use a variety of techniques to “dust” rugs from the front and back to remove dry soils trapped in the fiber of the rugs a must do step to ensure the cleaning is deep.

Step 3 – Pre-Condition

Depending on fiber content and soiling type, the rug will be pre-treated to emulsify the soils or in the case of Pet Urine Contamination, a Pet Treatment will be conducted in the form of a Turkish Bath.

Step 4 – Pre-Spot and Fringe Preparation

Any potential difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions that are wool safe products, to increase chances of removal.  The fringe is also pre-treated for maximum soil removal.

Step 5 – Shampoo

Most rugs are cleaned with an Oriental Rug Shampoo that is especially designed to obtain maximum cleaning while protecting sensitive fibers.

Step 6 – Rinse

All rugs will be thoroughly rinsed to soften the touch of the rug and remove all shampoo used in the cleaning process.

Step 7 – Speed Dry

Once the soil is rinsed away, the rug is dried flat or hung to dry in a controlled environment.

Step 8 – Finishing

When the rug is dry, it is brushed and finished with a soft groomer.

Step 9 – Post Inspection and Pick-Up/Delivery

Our certified  rug cleaners will give the rug a final inspection and release for pick-up or delivery. If you wish to have a moth repellant or spill proofing completed, it will be applied at this time.
